BOTTLE GOURD CURRY LEAVES DETOX DRINK

A wonderful detox drink that has innumerable good things.  Consume in the empty stomach in the morning to get most benefits out of it.

Benefits :

I am listing few of the benefits of this detox drink but there are still more.....

1. Promotes Weight loss
2. It helps in maintaining a healthy heart and brings down bad cholesterol levels. 
3. Rich source of vitamin C, K and calcium. 
4. Highly beneficial for diabetes patients.
5. Good to reduce high uric acid in the blood.
6. Improve your complexion and help you get a glowing skin.






Ingredients:

Bottle Gourd - 1 small size or 2 cups roughly chopped
Greek yogurt - 2 tbsp heaped 
Water - 3 cups (chilled or room temperature water)
Curry leaves - 1/8 cup
Salt - couple of pinches

Optional Ingredients :

Roasted cummin powder - couple of pinches (or)
Black salt - couple of pinch (or)
Dash of Lemon juice (or)(This makes rich in Vitamin C)
Ginger a small piece (or)
You can also add all these optional ingredients along with the above ingredients but I usually keep it simple and add very little salt. Its even good for health without salt, again depends oh how you like it. 






Method :

Add all the above ingredients in the blender with half amount of water to a smooth paste then dilute with remaining water. DO NOT strain consume as it is. 

Serving Suggestion :

** Serve chilled or room temperature.  
** Consume immediately as soon as it is made.
** Most important thing is Consume in the empty stomach in the morning to get most benefits out of it.
** To make vegan version of this drink omit Greek yogurt and add all other ingredients.
